Promote your Events

Since 2013, Radio Dublino has been active in promoting and publicising events related to Italy taking place in Dublin and Ireland. Part of our mission is to promote Italy in Ireland, and we are always available to collaborate free of charge in promoting relevant events.

We invite all operators in the private sector, public sector, and non-profit organisations to share their events with us so that Radio Dublino can promote them to our audience through our website, social media channels, radio programs, and podcasts.

Over the past decade, Radio Dublino has established a solid foundation of listeners, followers, and readers. As of December 12, 2023 (certified data), we have:

  • over 20,000 followers across our social media channels
  • over 3,500 unique monthly visitors on our website
  • over 2,700,000 people reached with our online and on-air content in the last 12 months
  • over 360,000 digital content engagements in the previous 12 months

This makes Radio Dublino one of the leading information channels among European expatriates and one of the most popular information channels within Irish media.

Radio Dublino is also open to promoting for-profit events, even if not strictly related to art and culture (such as exhibitions, concerts, video festivals, etc.), provided they are consistent with Radio Dublino’s mission (you can contact us for more details). However, we currently give priority to the following:

  • Events related to Italian culture, language, business, and art
  • Events taking place in Ireland
  • Events promoted by Italians or Italian organisations

To share your events, please email info@radiodublino.com at least 2 weeks before the event date, attaching:

  • an image related to the event (high resolution, minimum size 1200 x 1200 pixels)
  • a press release including: event organiser, venue and time, stakeholders.

It is useful to follow the 5 W’s Rule when drafting your event communication:

  • Who? (Who is organizing?)
  • What? (What is happening?)
  • When? (When is it happening?)
  • Where? (Where will it take place?)
  • Why? (Why is it happening?)

The press release can be written in either English or Italian. Here you can find an example press release.

Media Partnership

Since 2013, Radio Dublino has been the media partner for concerts in Dublin as part of the European tours of major Italian artists and bands (Afterhours, Max Gazzè, Franco Battiato, Subsonica, Ermal Meta, Guè, Elisa, Modena City Ramblers, etc.).

The (free) collaboration with promoters worked as follows:

  • Radio Dublino becomes the exclusive media partner of the concert in Dublin.
  • The promoter includes the Radio Dublino logo, indicating it as a media partner, on the concert poster (both physical and digital).
  • The promoter provides event details and the concert poster file.
  • Radio Dublino promotes the event across all its channels (website, social media, radio, livestreaming, etc.).
  • Radio Dublino interviews the artist a few weeks before the concert (via phone on radio or video for social media).
  • The promoter guarantees two passes for a Radio Dublino journalist and photographer.

On the night of the concert, Radio Dublino conducts short interviews with the musicians and produces a report (article, video, photos).

If you are a promoter interested in organising events in Dublin or already have events planned and would like a partnership, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
